Squad X after winning squad wars!!!

Hello Family in Christ!!!

The world race kicked off last Saturday and I am just over a week into the program! This past week was packed with worship, sessions, community, faith building, baptisms and more!

In terms of information for the trip; the route we will be taking I have been telling everyone backwards. The route is cambodia, to Thailand, to South Africa, then Guatemala. The first part of out trip will be spent in Georgia doing training for a month and two weeks of domestic ministry most likely helping with hurricane relief.

Coming into training was a whirlwind of emotions and thoughts but I am more excited than ever to be in this program serving the Lord.  God has blessed us with a squad (the 50 of us doing the world race) that naturally built a strong community (We are Squad X). Then we are broken into smaller teams of eight that we will be doing most of our ministry with. We have been having so much fun together from meals to squad wars to swing dancing to worshiping together they have already become like family.  We have been able to encourage one another in scripture, psalms, and an over pour of the spirit in our lives. It is amazing to see the work that God is all ready doing in lives of my squad mates.

A member of our squad, who is also apart of my team is a great example of that. Avant has a special place in my heart as a new brother in Christ. He accepted Christ when he applied for the WR!!! Now he is here serving the Lord whole heartedly. It was crazy the amount of growth the Holy Spirit produced in him this past week and I can not wait to see what type of godly man he makes my friend out to be!! Please be praying for him and that God will continue working on his all of the squad members lives. GOD HAS BEEN DOING SO MUCH AND ITS ONLY WEEK ONE!!!

God has been working in my life heavily already as well. God has been reshaping my perception of who He is, what He can do, how I should worship Him, how I should trust in Him, and how I should be telling others about Him. Getting the know the Lord in new ways has been unbelievable and I am longing to see the ways he will.continue to reveal himself.

I ask for prayer as the mission continues in both training camp and international ministry. Please pray for the hearts of the people we are going to be ministering to and out hearts as we prepare to go serve the Lord outside of the states. For safety both physically and spiritually for the squad and myself.

If any of you have prayer requests, please let me know. I would love to be praying for you!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, for your support, and I pray this will encourage you and others as I continue the race!!

Your brother in Christ,

Logan Clark
